In the country we now live in….

In the country we now live in….

Freedom of speech means now that you first need to get a permit. In addition, heaven forbid if you say something that may offend someone….kind of hard to have an in depth conversation on view points without offending someone (thanks democrats and neocon conservatives).

In the country that was almost lost due to a shortage of guns to fight the revolution….. You are now considered a nut if you decide to exercise your second amendment right to defend yourself, your family or your property…..not to mention you can get sued and sent to prison if someone breaks into your house and you shoot them (thanks again democrats). And to you uneducated democrats that would argue the “well regulated militia” clause, I ask you, what was a militia back then? Answer: Any individual willing to grab his PERSONAL firearm and defend themselves, their family, their property, and their country.

In the country that was founded on limited government and low taxes…..

We now have government control on nearly everything, and in a few months (if Obama wins) we will have government control of healthcare. If McCain wins (lesser of two evils) we will still be in an unconstitutional war (by the way Obama continues to vote to fund this war at the same time speaking against it).

In a country that is suppose to believe in due-process….

We now have secret prisons, secret tribunals, unwarranted searches and wiretapping all in the name of “national security.” That fact is that every corrupt government has always used the term “national security” to deprive its citizens of rights and liberties.

In a country were there used to be many viable political parties….

We now have only two major parties and all others are dismissed by the mass media that is controlled by the two parties (Dems and Reps). There are only a few real differences between the Democratic Party and what the Republican Party has become and what they believe the role in government ought to be.

“The moral and constitutional obligations of our representatives in Washington are to protect our liberty, not coddle the world, precipitating no-win wars, while bringing bankruptcy and economic turmoil to our people.” –Ron Paul

“A system of capitalism presumes sound money, not fiat money manipulated by a central bank. Capitalism cherishes voluntary contracts and interest rates that are determined by savings, not credit creation by a central bank.” –Ron Paul

Have you ever read 1984? I think you would find it interesting. I know you aren’t much for reading.

It’s out of copyright, so it’s now public domain and can be read online:

I’ve heard a lot about the movie 1984, and even downloaded it about a month ago, but haven’t had a chance to watch it yet.

A joke I found:

For those of you who may not be completely aware of John Hinckley, who he is, what he did, and why, here’s a little history. John Hinckley was a seriously deranged young man who shot President Reagan many years back. John was absolutely obsessed with movie star Jodie Foster, and extremely jealous as well, and in his twisted mind, loved Jodie Foster to the point that to make himself known to her, attempted to assassinate President Reagan.
With that in mind…the staff at the mental facility treating John Hinckley reports intercepting the following letter from Bill Clinton:
To: John Hinckley
From: Bill Clinton
Dear John,
Hillary and I wanted to drop you a short note to tell you how pleased we are with the great strides you are making in your recovery. In our country’s new spirit of understanding and forgiveness, we want you to know there is a bilateral consensus of compassion and forgiveness abroad throughout the land.
Hillary and I want you to know that no grudge is borne against you for shooting President Reagan. We, above all, are aware of how the mental stress and pain could have driven you to such an act of desperation. Hillary and I are confident that you will soon make a complete recovery and return to your family to join the world again as a healthy and productive young man.
Best wishes,
Bill & Hillary Clinton
PS: Barack Obama is screwing Jodie Foster.
